A return to the Outer Hebrides in April

refreshed mind and soul, with colours, patterns, textures, sounds and feelings I can never come even close to recreating with a camera. I can only hope that the images made will nudge my memories back to those special moments, when icy winds blew across the bare machair, the turquoise sea sparkled, the sanderlings ran on the pale sands, the reeds stood tall in the evening light, and mergansers fished while the seals played.
